Letters from Iraq

These are some of the letters that Shane wrote while in Iraq

This letter was written on the back of a cardboard MRE food box.  It was written on the 16th of April, 2003.

The troops called these MRE Postcards, and they were able to use them to mail from the field with no charge for postage.  The MREs (Meal Ready to Eat) were readily available sources of writing material in places where there were not a lot of creature comforts around.

This letter was written a couple of weeks later on April 30th.
